Motion Graphics Designer

At Brightscout, we are seeking a talented and innovative Motion Designer to elevate our visual storytelling and branding initiatives. As a key member of our creative team, you will be instrumental in transforming concepts and scripts into captivating visual narratives using advanced animation techniques, including 2D/3D animation, motion graphics, and other innovative methods. Your role will involve a harmonious blend of artistic vision, technical expertise, and a profound understanding of storytelling, aiming to engage and inspire our audience through powerful visual content.

Responsibilities

Creative Development and Execution

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand animation requirements, transforming scripts and concepts into compelling animations that align with our brand's identity.
• Design and execute early drafts, iterating based on stakeholder feedback to refine and enhance visual concepts.
• Develop detailed storyboards that serve as a blueprint for production, ensuring consistency with the project's vision and objectives.
• Produce models, drawings, and illustrations, both manually and digitally, following the project's aesthetic and technical guidelines.
• Integrate animations with background graphics and special effects to create a rich, immersive visual experience.
• Coordinate audio synchronization to ensure seamless integration with visual content, enhancing the overall narrative impact.

Collaboration

• Contribute to the editing process, offering creative and technical insights to optimize the final product.
• Share your knowledge with teammates, promoting a culture of creativity, learning, and collaboration within the team.
• Engage in productive collaboration with the broader production team, including designers, directors, and other essential personnel, to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Demonstrated success as a Motion Designer or Animator in a professional setting, with a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of animation techniques and styles.
• Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of animation principles and proficiency in leading animation software (e.g., After Effects, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, Maya).
• Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a systematic approach to prioritization and execution.
• Educational Background: A degree in Animation, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to work collaboratively, superior communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
