UI/UX Designer


UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and building navigation components.

At Brightscout, the UI/UX Designer will play a pivotal role in crafting user-centric design solutions for our diverse range of digital projects, including new website builds, website revamps mobile/web app interfaces. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented professional who thrives at the intersection of aesthetics and functionality, aligning their design work with our overarching business goals. Your ability to interpret user needs and translate them into smooth, intuitive interfaces will be key to our project's success. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, especially our project managers, is essential in this role.


Design Development

  • Design user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, and web apps, ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms.
  • Utilize design thinking methodologies to empathize with users, define pain points, ideate solutions, prototype, and test designs.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers to align design objectives with project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure design consistency and coherence across multiple projects, while adhering to brand guidelines.

Team Collaboration

  • Work in tandem with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to implement design solutions effectively.
  • Participate in regular team meetings, providing updates on design progress and receiving feedback for iterative improvement.
  • Understand and translate technical and non-technical requirements into user-friendly designs.

User Research and Testing

  • Conduct user research to gather insights and inform design decisions.
  • Develop and test user personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Analyze user feedback and analytics to refine and optimize designs.

  • Advocate for design best practices:
    • Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Design Experience

  • +5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in an agency setting.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a user-centered design approach and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus, for closer collaboration with developers.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts and rationales to team members and clients.
  • Ability to receive and integrate feedback constructively from various stakeholders.

Collaboration Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, team-oriented

environment, balancing individual responsibilities with collaborative design efforts.

User-Centric Approach

  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences.
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
