Seek AI provides a generative AI platform for data teams, enabling them to automate complex database queries and streamline data access across their organization. This solution enhances the speed and accuracy of data-driven decision-making by leveraging natural language processing to simplify interactions with large datasets.
The Challenge
Seek is an AI startup pioneering a natural language interface for enterprise data. The platform allows business users to generate insights simply by asking questions, without needing to write SQL. While the technology showed strong early promise, the initial version of the product had been rapidly assembled by the founder using basic tooling and lacked a solid engineering foundation. As Seek gained traction, it became clear that both the brand and product experience needed a significant upgrade in order to support enterprise adoption, build investor confidence, and improve internal development velocity.
The Solution
BRIGHTSCOUT partnered with Seek to elevate both the brand and the product. We defined a modern visual identity that reflected the company’s innovative and accessible mission. We also launched a clean, professional website that clearly communicated the value of Seek’s AI platform to enterprise buyers and investors. More importantly, we worked closely with the internal team to modernize the application. This included a complete UI redesign, significant UX improvements, and a migration away from ad hoc front-end tooling toward a stable, scalable framework. All of these updates were delivered incrementally, allowing Seek to continue serving live users without disruption.
The Results
The result was a faster, more intuitive product experience supported by a robust engineering foundation. The refreshed brand and marketing site helped position Seek as a serious enterprise contender. Meanwhile, the product improvements accelerated internal team velocity and enhanced overall usability for customers. Our partnership played a key role in helping Seek scale effectively, culminating in their acquisition by IBM’s watsonx division in 2025.
