Clever Devices is a 35-year leader in intelligent transportation systems, serving major transit agencies across North America and expanding into Latin America and global markets.
We unified their brand identity following their acquisition of Italian software firm MAIOR, consolidating two competing identities into one scalable visual and messaging system built for global growth and regional flexibility.

What We Achieved
We crafted a unified visual identity for Clever Devices that centered around their logo, eliminating audience confusion and establishing a strong brand presence across markets. Now, they’ve gotten rid of inconsistencies and can lean on strong, clear messaging that still focuses on regional nuances. And through a scalable brand and strategy system that enables consistency across regions while allowing for local flexibility, we’re driving engagement and helping set the brand up for success.
How We Got There
We brought the two brands and identities together under one scalable system for global growth through visual territory explorations and strong messaging frameworks. A big part of our visual work centered around honing in on the perfect logo.
Challenges
Clever Devices is a long-established leader in intelligent transportation systems (ITS) with over 35 years of experience in major North American transit agencies. After acquiring MAIOR, an Italian software company specializing in advanced planning and scheduling for transit systems, they’ve had trouble unifying the brand. With an expanding global growth strategy, the dual-brand setup caused some confusion in the market and posed challenges for global trade show presence, partner marketing, and regional brand clarity.
